What is CPT and how does it benefit students?
CPT stands for Curricular Practical Training. CPT status allows international students with an F-1 visa to gain work experience through off-campus, paid/unpaid internships or employment in a related field while they study
How does CPT work at our partner universities?
CPT is an integral part of the programs and participation is required. CPT is authorized from day-1 for the duration of the program with no gaps or breaks.
Graduate MS Programs
Programs are 2-year, 6-semester, full-time programs. Each semester you will take two 3-credit courses. One course requires face-to-face instruction and the other is fully online. Total 36 credits; 6 credits per semester
Semester tuition is due in full one week before the start of each semester. No payment plans available.

Admission Requirements:

| Goal Statement | • Statement should be at least 1 typed page in length or 200+ words. Not required if you have graduated from a US university. |
| Degree Certificates and Transcripts | • Include all university transcripts. Foreign transcripts should be evaluated by WES or ECE |
| Two Current Letters of Recommendation | • Letters should be from current or former employers or professors. • Not required if you have graduated from a US university |
| Professional Resume Proof of English Proficiency | • IELTS (6.0) or TOEFL (80) or DuoLingo (105). Not required if you have successfully completed one full semester of graduate studies from a regionally accredited US institution of higher education with a GPA of 3.0 or higher |
| Passport | • Individuals already in the USA must also include copies of visa, most recent I -20 and I -94 |
| Bank Statement | • Bank statements of $27,040 in financial support and affidavit of support if applicable. Pay stubs cannot be used as proof of financial support. If you are using sponsor bank statements, you must also submit an affidavit of support. |
| APPLICATION DEADLINE | • Application deadline is 2 weeks before the program start date if you are already in the US with a valid visa. • Otherwise, the application deadline is 3 months before the program start date. |
Financial Aid and Scholarships:
There are no merit-based scholarships at the graduate level.
However, every graduate program offered to international students
is authorized for Day-1 CPT.
This practicum not only provides the student with real-world work
experience in a related field but also income to cover tuition and
living expenses. Many of our students graduate debt free!
